I was recently in the Madison, TN location of the Davidson County Clerk on behalf of a business. The line was extremely long, and the clerk was far less than friendly. I had a semi difficult process - the freight vehicle was bought at two different times (truck and bed). She got on the phone to call someone about what she should do in regards to that situation. The first minute or so she chatted instead of asking the direct question. Normally, I wouldn't care about that, but with the lines as long as they are, there was no sense of urgency from any of the clerks. I believe this poorly reflects the county. I'm afraid those of us posting have no other choices but to continue to use these clerks. It just makes the process dreadful.
I've never had any issues here. I just wouldn't go on curtain days because the lines are long. But today I was in and out within 5 minutes.

I moved here from a different state and ran into some issues.They were not very helpful. The girl on the end to your far right...Was less than friendly and had a very ugly disposition. I did not leave with my Tennessee plates and they could've cared less. She needs customer service training or she needs to be replaced. She doesn't know what the people she services goes through. I went through a lot the night before and was dealing with some personal issues. Her attitude and lack of customer service skills & empathy could've sent a weak person over the edge.
